Diabetes Centro De Salud Sin Fronteras, a 501(c)3 Non-Profit founded by Dr. James E. Creek, M.D., in Calexico, CA, is an organization that strives to provide optimal education, access, and intervention to low-income families with pre-diabetes and/or diabetes. It also serves at-risk individuals by providing screening, early detection, and intervention to prevent and reverse diabetes.

Dr. James E. Creek, M.D., serves as the founder and medical director of Diabetes Centro De Salud Sin Fronteras centered in Calexico, California. He is also presently the Medical Director at James E. Creek M.D., and Dr. Creek Weight Loss and is the Lab Director at GCAM Plasma Center. An experienced physician with an extensive background in general practice, diabetes , weight management and preventative sports medicine. Dr. Creek’s current mission is working with high-risk Hispanic populations to prevent and reverse diabetes and child obesity. He accomplishes this by screening early detection and intervention in high-risk patients and also by promoting optimal health and nutrition plans. Dr. Creek is currently engaged in clinical research and development of both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic programs, including nutrition, exercise, and healthy lifestyle programs for the treatment of diabesity. Having held several additional positions as an occupational and primary care physician in the southern California region, Dr. Creek has not only enhanced his expertise in the field, but has also developed a strong relationship with his patients in Calexico and is fluent in Spanish.
